Two held in Berbice raids

Two men were arrested pending investigations into robbery under arms, after police raided several homes in New Amsterdam, Berbice yesterday.

Police, in a news release said that Berbice Police conducted early morning raids in Stanleytown and Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam yesterday. Several houses were searched during which two men were arrested pending investigations into robbery under arms, the statement added.
