Bath man dies in cycle accident

A 45-year-old Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice resident is now dead after being struck down by a bicycle on Saturday night in his home village. 

Police said in a press release yesterday that Ramkissoon Ramdeo was walking along the Bath Settlement Public Road around 8:30 on Saturday night when he was hit from behind by a pedal cyclist.  Ramdeo was taken to the Fort Wellington Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, the police said in the release.
