A 29-year-old man who allegedly stole a number of items worth just over $275,000 was remanded to prison when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Devon McCloud of Lot 14 Good Intent, West Bank Demerara initially pleaded guilty to charges of simple larceny, being an unlicensed driver and breach of insurance when they were read to him. However, after listening to his explanations Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle entered not guilty pleas on McCloud’s behalf for all the matters……
