The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph’s (GT&T) mobile network along the East Berbice corridor between Cottage and Phillipi has been affected by severe interference since Sunday and the company is requesting the patience of its Cellink customers.

In a statement last night the company acknowledged that many of its customers have been experiencing difficulties in sending and receiving mobile calls since 11 am on Sunday. However it said that that it was addressing the problem as a matter of urgency.
