A Port Kaituma miner was killed during a reported domestic squabble on Monday and police are hunting the suspect.

Dead is Royston Nicholson, age 44 years. Reports are that Nicholson and the woman had a row and she chopped him on his right hand with a knife. He was rushed to the Port Kaituma hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to a police release, the suspected murder weapon has been recovered.
