Police man Mark George, 33, was shot on Woolford Avenue last night.

George of North Ruimveldt and a member of the Tactical Services Unit was up to press time this morning undergoing surgery in the operating theater of the Georgetown Public Hospital.
George was in uniform at the time of the shooting.
It is reported that a vehicle pulled up alongside him and he was shot in the back with the bullet exited through his belly.
Residents say around 3 bullets were fired.
