Man dies after dirt bike accident

A man who was involved in a dirt bike accident in Mahdia succumbed to his injuries early yesterday morning at the George-town Public Hospital (GPHC).

Stabroek News understands that Lloyd Mendonza of 34 Ruimveldt Ocean View, West Coast Demerara, was taken to the hospital on Saturday afternoon suffering from head injuries. He died at around 4:30 yesterday morning. Details of the accident were sketchy but Stabroek News understands that the man was on a dirt bike on the Mahdia trail when he was involved in the accident.
