Armed robbery accused remanded

Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton remanded to prison a man accused of robbing another at gunpoint of $600,000.

Stravo Evans pleaded not guilty to the charge of robbery under arms when it was read to him yesterday at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on May 22, at Georgetown, Evans while being armed with a dangerous weapon robbed Mark Rose of the said sum of money.

Evans was ordered to return to court on October 15.
