Lindener shot at Omai concession

A 32-year-old Linden man is a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) nursing gunshot wounds he allegedly sustained during an altercation with a guard at Omai yesterday.

Keino Liverpool of Amelia’s Ward, Linden was shot in his right elbow and left hip during the altercation which occurred at the Omai Gold Mines concession. Police said that they were investigating the incident which occurred at about 3:30 am yesterday.
