A man, who reportedly fell off a lorry that was transporting lumber, succumbed to the injuries sustained, while undergoing treatment at the Port Kaituma Hospital on Saturday.

Dead is Eon Culpepper. Police have detained the driver of the vehicle to assist with investigations.

A press release from the lawmen stated that the incident occurred at about 6 pm on Saturday at Oronoque Road, Port Kaituma.

Investigations revealed that Culpepper was in the tray of a motor lorry that was transporting lumber when he allegedly fell off the vehicle. He sustained injuries about his body and was taken to the Port Kaituma Hospital where he succumbed while receiving treatment.
