The search by relatives of a Little Baiboo, Mahaica Creek farmer ended yesterday when his body was discovered floating in the river around 4.30 pm yesterday.

Dead is 36-year-old Marvin Hanniff of the same area. This newspaper understands that the man left home early Friday morning, telling relatives that he was going to graze his cows. The man never returned home and so relatives launched a frantic search for him and lodged a missing persons report at the Number Ten police outpost.

Their search ended yesterday when they discovered the man floating in the nearby waterway.

They reportedly took the body to the Mahaica Police Station and it was later brought to the city at the Lyken Funeral Parlour where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
