It is alleged that on July 28 at Frenchman Landing, Essequibo River, Marcano murdered Dexter Samuels.

The accused was represented by attorney-at-law Mark Waldron whose only request was that the matter should continue in the present court and not be transferred to the Bartica Magistrate’s Court.

Marcano will next appear at court on September 2 when his matter is due for report.

According to a July 28 police press release the Mabura Outpost had received a report of murder at French-man Landing, Essequibo River, and police ranks were dispatched to conduct enquiries.
