A 30-year-old man, who allegedly indecently assaulted a six-year-old female, was refused bail when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Odingo Bourne of 654 East Ruimveldt pleaded not guilty to the charge of indecent assault when it was read to him by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.

It is alleged that on July 30 in Georgetown the man indecently assaulted a six-year-old female.
According to reports, on the said day Bourne touched the child who then complained to her father.
Bourne was remanded to prison and the matter is to continue on August 8.
