Woman dies after bed frame falls on her

An East La Penitence woman died in the emergency room of the Georgetown Public Hospital on Monday while undergoing treatment for injuries she received when a bed frame fell on her.

Dead is 91-year-old Maria Le Lapzung of Lot 7 La Penitence Public Road who was taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit with injuries to her hands, foot and other body parts. She died around 9.20 pm on Monday while receiving treatment.
