Hindus to put on cultural evening

The Hindu community will present an evening of music, bhajans, kirtan and classical dances at the Providence stadium on August 27 as part of Carifesta X.

In a press release the Bhajan Deepanjali Committee said the event will feature creativity in the items geared to stimulate spiritual elevation and inspiration. The participating groups are the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha, the Guyana Pandit’s Council, the Central Arya Samaj of Guyana, the Mahatma Gandhi Organisation, the Brahma Kumari Organisation and the Maha Kali Organisation of Guyana.
