Republic building new bank in Anna Regina

Republic Bank has started construction on its newest branch at Anna Regina with a sod turning ceremony hosted recently.

In a press release, the bank said that in keeping with its vision of being the bank of choice for customers it would be moving its operations from the current location in Anna Regina to Lot 8 in a “spanking new, modern facility.”

It said the new building signals its long-term commitment to the people in that area.

The bank said the new construction is in keeping with its overall plan of continuing to upgrade and expand its banking network. “We want to better serve the financial needs of Guyanese and to enhance Guyana[‘s] structural landscape”… to better reflect the country’s progress and development,” it said.
