Four Chinese injured by broken glass

Four men sustained serious injuries about their bodies after glass fell on them as they were unloading a container at the Eccles Industrial Site last night.

The men, Chinese nationals Shen Nhi He, 37; Shi Fei, 22; Song Wei Nei, 41; and Yong Ivei, 28 of 130 Regent Street, Georgetown were severely cut about their bodies, according to reports. 
Persons close to the site gathered at the Georgetown Public Hospital where the men were being treated and recalled being urgently summoned following the incident which occurred at just about 10 pm. They said that the men, bleeding heavily, were transported to the medical institution.

The exact circumstances of how the incident occurred were unclear up to press time last night but Stabroek News was told that the men were unloading a container when glass fell on them.
The men were still being treated, when this newspaper left the hospital.
