Castellani House presents The Passenger (alternate title, Profession: Reporter) (1975), as this month’s ‘Classic Tuesdays’ feature tomorrow at 6pm. The public is cordially invited to attend this event.

The 2 hour 6 minutes film created by Michelangelo Antonioni tells the story of journalist David Locke (played by Jack Nicholson) who reaches frustration and failure pursuing a story in the deserts of North Africa, and who stumbles across an opportunity to change and escape from his life by assuming another identity.

.However, Locke soon comes to realize that assuming this persona as well as denying his own brings dangerous complications to living.

He meets along the way a young architecture student, played by Maria Schneider, and a relationship develops.

According to the Castellani House press release, master film-maker Antonioni creates a masterpiece of memorable scenes and images.
