GCA cricketcontinues this weekend

Action in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) organized competitions will continue this weekend with matches being played in the Beharry Champions Products Second Division competition as well as the Steve Jewellery World Over-40 competition.

Three matches are slated for today in the Second Division Limited Overs competition, with Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) playing host to the  Guyana Defence Force at GNIC under the guidance of Linden Matthews and Joseph Jeffrey, Diplomats and Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) doing battle at MSC (Ernest Hinds and Randolph Rose) and Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and Police clashing at Ghandi Youth Organization (GYO) with Robin Kendall and Frank Peters being the men in charge.

Tomorrow’s action in the Second Division will be between Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Ace Warriors at DCC (Colin Alfred and Matthew Kissoon), GDF and Diplomats at GYO (Nigel Duguid and Anthony Garnett) and GCC and Police at GCC with Clyde Duncan and Daniel Pantlitz officiating. In the Steve’s Jewellery World over-40 competition, MSC and Rastafamans will face each other at MSC (Joseph Jeffrey and Linden Matthews) while Transport Sports Club and GNIC will square off at GNIC under the supervision of Reginald Grant and Daniel Richmond.
