On Saturday a large group of residents again went into the Ann’s Grove, East Coast Demerara, back dam but there was no sign of the man.

The man’s relatives are convinced that he is dead because he has been threatened several times and beaten over his stealing of fruits from farmers in the back dam.

The relatives alleged that the woman was in the habit of taking the man into the back dam to steal fruits which she would then sell from her stall.
