Yesterday marked the 29th day of Ramadan and the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) announced that Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated today or tomorrow depending on the sighting of the crescent.
According to a CIOG press release, if the crescent was sighted last evening then Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated today. However, if the crescent is not sighted, then it will be celebrated tomorrow.
