Teen on 13 counts of armed robbery

An 18-year-old Annandale, East Coast Demerara resident was yesterday slapped with thirteen counts of robbery under arms and one count of break and enter when he appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

Theon Branche will return to court next Thursday.
A police release stated that the charges were laid following intense investigations into a series of armed robberies committed on business places and members of the public over the past few months in Georgetown

Some of the business places he allegedly robbed are Multi Tech Lab at New Market Street; Games Shop Arcade at the City Mall; a Games Shop at Albert Street, Alberttown; Munchkins at Lamaha Street; Rainbow Fashions at Camp and Bent streets; Genesis Pet Shop at North Road, Bourda; Tasha Intimate Bath and Body Boutique at Barr Street, Kitty; and Simply Gorgeous at Station Street, Kitty.
