AINLIM crew robbed in Sophia

Police are advising salesmen to be alert and observant when going about their business after an AINLIM salesman and porter were attacked and robbed of $42,000 cash and a cellular phone while they were in `C’ Field, Sophia on Tuesday.

At about 1.30 pm Victor Harris and porter Michael Forde were robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, a police press release said.

Investigations, according to the police, revealed that Harris and Forde were making deliveries to customers when they were held up by the two men.

It has been observed, the police said, that persons are preying on salesmen while they are plying their trade. The police are advising salesmen to be alert and observant.
