The Mayor and City Council is in the process of reorganising the new vendors mall on Water Street to ensure compliance with the market and public health regulations.

In a press release the Council said more than 163 vendors would be accommodated at this facility. This will aid the Council in keeping the pavements and other thoroughfares free from street vendors and encumbrances they use to ply their trade.

The Council said it hopes to complete this project before the beginning of the festive season and it is appealing to the vendors involved to cooperate.
