Police complaints chairman in Mabaruma today

The Police Complaints Authority will be taking complaints from members of the public against members of the Guyana Police Force in Mabaruma, Region One today.

According to a press release Chairman, Justice Cecil Kennard, will meet the public at 10 am at the Kumaka Extension Centre. Justice Kennard will then meet with members of the police force at 2 pm at the Mabaruma Police Station to explain his role and to raise with them matters which are of concern to him.

Plans are also in train for visits to the Essequibo Coast and Linden, the release said.
