A Brazilian miner was killed and another injured on Sunday when the All Terrain Vehicle (ALT) they were travelling on, turned turtle at Puruni Backdam, Middle Mazaruni.
Dead is pillion rider Antonio Vieira Arango, 49, of Third Avenue, Bartica. Brazilian miner Naldino Da Costa Souza, 34, of Second Avenue, Bartica who was the driver of the ATV, is currently a patient of the Bartica Hospital having sustained injuries to various parts of the body.
