Tree crushes farmer

An East Bank Essequibo (EBE) farmer was killed yesterday when a tree he was cutting fell on him.
Dead is Gregory Gibson of Aliki, EBE.

Police said that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death which occurred around 1:20 pm at Gibson’s farm located at Aliki.

It has so far been revealed that Gibson was cutting down a tree with a power saw when it reportedly fell on him.
