A man who reportedly set his house on fire following a dispute with his wife is being sought by the police and when arrested he will face the charge of arson.

A release from the police said that around 4 am yesterday the man allegedly set his Non Pareil, East Coast Demerara home on fire and it was completely destroyed.

Police said that the man and his reputed wife, Ramdai Mahadeo, had a misunderstanding during which he allegedly threw kerosene into the building and lit it afire.
