Bartica is being marketed as a tourist attraction under the theme ‘This is Bartica’.
This was announced at a press conference yesterday at the Side Walk Café and Jazz Club.
‘This is Bartica’ will be showcased on November 29 and 30.

Holbert Knights, Regional Chairman and Head of the Bartica Regatta Committee, stated that on November 29 Bartica will be displaying its cultural composition.  The opening ceremony which is scheduled to be held at Cool Breeze will be magnifying the cultural and ethnic mix, mining in that area and the contribution of company’s that conduct business in Bartica among other items.
On November 30, there will be several tours to exotic spots around Bartica. The night of November 30 will witness the hosting of designers’ quest.

Designers’ quest will be manned by Sonia Noel, International Guyanese Designer and Production Designer Richard Young. The duo promises an evening of fashion exhibits as they promote designs done by young Barticians.
