A man who is accused of committing a knife-point robbery was granted $90,000 bail yesterday when he appeared before Magistrate Nyasha Williams-Hatmin at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

Kedis Roden of Linden pleaded not guilty to the charge of robbery under arms when it was read to him.
It is alleged that on November 8, Roden used a knife to rob Javen Morrison of a gold chain and other items all valued $244,000.

The prosecution made no objection to Roden’s bail application and stated that a few of the items were recovered.
The magistrate subsequently granted Roden bail in the sum of $90,000 and ordered him to return to court on December 19.
