The Ministry of Public Works is calling on all persons who may have outstanding claims to make against Travel Span Airlines and Constellation Tours to make their claims as soon as possible.

Public Works Minister Robeson Benn told Stabroek News yesterday that the two companies have requested their $40 million bonds that they had to put up with the government at the onset of their services here. Hence the government is making sure that all customers who may have bought tickets and could not get a flight make their claims and are compensated.

The deadline for making claims is November 30, 2008. Claims should be addressed to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Wights Lane Kingston and it should be stated on the envelope which airline the claim is being made against.

The letter should contain the name and address of claimant, date when tickets were purchased, copies of tickets and receipts and any other pertinent details.
