Oliver Hinckson has not been detained in the US, the office Hughes, Fields and Stoby Attorneys-at-law said in a letter to this newspaper yesterday, with reference to an article captioned ‘Oliver Hinckson detained in US’ in yesterday’s edition of the Stabroek News.

Attorney-at-law Nigel Hughes stressed that his client’s documents were seized by Homeland Security but Hinckson was not detained.
