Pirates grab boat at Rose Hall foreshore

Yet another fisherman was the victim of an act of piracy, this time at Corentyne around 4 am yesterday.
According to a police press release issued late last evening,  fisherman Bishan Motilall, 51, of Rose Hall, was attacked and robbed by three men all armed with firearms, while he was mooring his boat at the Rose Hall foreshore.  The release said investigations revealed that Motilall had returned from sea and was mooring his fishing boat when the men appeared from among the bushes and held him up. They then took away his boat and engine and escaped. Investigations are continuing.
