Body found in trench

Cops release boyfriend, search on for second man

Police have released the boyfriend of Creavone Thorne, the woman who was found dead in a trench, and investigators are looking for a second man, ‘A’ Division Commander Leroy Brumell said yesterday.

According to Brumell, the boyfriend was recently released on station bail. While stating that no one else has been apprehended, he said that the police are looking for a second person to aid in their investigations.

The boyfriend was held following the gruesome discovery of the semi-nude, decomposing body of the Antigua-based woman, in a trench along Thomas Lands.

A post-mortem examination conducted on the remains on Friday revealed that she died as a result of manual strangulation. Her boyfriend was arrested hours after the discovery was made. He was reportedly the last person to speak with Thorne.
