Boy, 11, hit by motorbike, injured

An 11-year-old boy was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital yesterday afternoon, after being hit by a motorcycle. 

Raymond Lucas of ‘B’ Field Sophia was hit by the motorcycle on Garnett Street just after 3 pm. According to reports, the rider of the motorcycle had first collided with a minibus, after which he ran into the child.  The boy was nursing injuries to his face and right leg.  The rider of the motorcycle was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries and he was treated and sent away.
