Juvenile among three held over NA robbery

Three persons, including a juvenile, have been arrested by the police in connection with the robbery of a popular New Amsterdam cell phone repair store.
On Sunday evening, bandits broke into the Blue Ridge Wireless Store at Main and New streets, New Amsterdam, and stole over 60 cell phones worth over $700, 000.

The three persons, residents of Angoy’s Avenue, were arrested yesterday after they were found with six of the stolen phones.
Following the robbery, owner of the store Patrick Barry known as ‘Boy Blue’ said that most of the stolen phones belonged to large companies which had contracted him to unlock and repair phones.

Recently, the Eclipse Barber Shop which is connected to the store was broken into and a quantity of items was also stolen.
Police are continuing investigations into the matter.
