Man dies after collapsing on Regent St

A 67-year-old man was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Hospital on Monday night, minutes after collapsing on Regent Street in the vicinity of Bourda Market.

Dead is David Calendar of Lodge Housing Scheme. There were no marks of violence on his body and a post-mortem examination will be conducted shortly to determine the cause of death.

Reports are that sometime after 11 pm, the man was rushed to the medical institution shortly after he was found. However doctors in the emergency room pronounced him dead on arrival.
