		<description>If only this government had any vision whatsoever on agriculture; Guyana could have been a stellar producer.

Guyana could have not only met local consumption demands, but also all of CARICOM and the international community at some level. This would include beef, lamb, poultry and fish.

Does this regime have plans for 5 to 10 years of agriculture. I think not!  They go from year to year crossing their fingers and hoping sugar and rice will save them.

No lessons were learned from the floods of 2005. No back up plans are in place for devastation of these major crops.</description>
