It seems to me that it is appropriate for there to be some permanent memorial to him .One such memorial,bearing in mind his huge commitment to unifying the aspirations of the Guyanese as well as the citizens themselves, might be for the Stabroek News to start a site something along the lines of "Friends Reunited" which enables Guyanese, wherever they may be in the world ,also their friends of old to find each other again.It could be named after David de Caires and might bring happiness to many people seeking out old friends and relationships.
