The American electorate has an amazing ability to elect the wrong candidate - not just in presidential elections, but in primaries as well. Let's hope that they haven't done it this time. I don’t know why it should come as such a surprise that Bill Clinton is an unpleasant man.

The American electorate has an amazing ability to elect the wrong candidate – not just in presidential elections, but in primaries as well. Let’s hope that they haven’t done it this time.

Since it requires a huge amount of money to become president, it is hardly surprising that over 99% of the most able candidates are “disqualified” before the process even starts.
