Dear editor, what you're saying here makes a lot of sense, and I again state that these (CCE)"pirates/Businessmen" whatever should have been denied bail when placed before the courts based on the severity of the pending charges that they were on, and none of this would have happened. I can also recommend that Legitimate businessmen set up a security networking system, where they are able to alert each other and the Police in an emergency using GPS and not soley depend on the Government for their safety and survival.

I agree with your editorial it make sense and I must commend you with your accuracy. From a security perspective you are right that the military should be more actively involved at the scene. If you are thinking like me we will be on the right track. You did not went intop no detail I will not go any further.

To be fair to the law enforcement agencies they lack the necessary know how to gather such information and build on it.

I have been following the criminal activity througout the region and the events which you alluded to makes sense and if you can piece the events togather the security forces should be able to do the same.

The criminal in Guyana can be defeated and it only need someone to spend the time to plot the way the criminals operate. They operate like persons not knowing what they are doing and it only need the police to work harder on their intelligence and they will be able to catch the bandits.

The stolen AK47 should be of great concern for all. Who stole the weapons? What role did Gibson played? Did Mr.Gibson a member of the military at the time of the stolen AK47? If not nwho is his closes associates in the military?

I have written expressing the way thethe police responded to the report. Job well done. Do not ease up more to come be on the alert.
