Mr. Kirton, you expect any better? You should try listening to a speech delivered by some Govt officials ...you'll be even more shocked! Or not. The education system in Guyana is failing and the Govt. continues to build and tout 'brand-spanking' new schools everywhere, but the problem is, there aren't enough teachers in those schools. Most of the teachers have left as fast as they could. I remember when Botswana and The Bahamas were grabbing them up by the bus load. LOL. Mr. Kirton, you expect any better?
