Apart from providing us with the knowledge of what is happening in Cambodia and a slight background history of the country, is there a concealed message in this piece by Vishnu Bisram. To me, he seems to be indirectly indicating that once oil is found off the coast of Guyana (or if we are generating massive wealth), we should care less about our Political system i.e. Free and Fair elections, Governments respecting the Rule of law, bringing an end to racial politics, a better functioning parliament, a better judicial system, Marginalisation etc. Are we to focus on wealth and forget the type of society we want to live? Mr. Bisram i really don't understand what this article was meant to tell us? Lost Something is not right about this article.
