Dear Editor,

I am the proprietor of Lachmansingh Drug Service, which is located at the corner of Camp and Norton streets. Over the past years there have been many accidents that have caused serious injuries and death.

Just over a week ago, an accident occurred at the same location where the motor vehicle almost crashed into my store, nearly killing or injuring my security guard.

Last year November two persons died when their motorcycle crashed into a motor car. Daily, many motorists do not properly observe the rule to stop when driving on Norton Street, as Camp Street is the major road.

This makes it a dangerous intersection.

I am therefore kindly asking for the Police Traffic Department to place speed bumps on both sides of Norton Street so that vehicles can slow down before approaching Camp Street. This will serve to prevent loss to life, limb and property.

Yours faithfully,
E.V. Lachmansingh
Proprietor
