Several words crossed my mind relative to the thoughts expressed by Tandika Todd. They are the following; absurd, abomination, hallucination, delusion, illusion, fantasy and nightmare. I am sure one of them is an apt description. Let me be kind for I am after all a woman’s son. Her argument is porous, at best. It is certainly ludicrous and/or preposterous or both.

Well, Maverick, Burnham is dead and so is the PNC. But if we don’t get up off our seats and stop wallowing in self pity, the party will have no future. Can’t blame Ms Todd for her ignorance. Got to blame old stalwarts like you who ran when the going got tough.

Visionary? Lets examine the word “visionless” instead. Young men and women are unemployed and hopeless. Corbin’s response…march; tax increase..march; discrimination in the worlplace….march; residents of poor villages complain of poor or none existent infracture…march; violence against citizens…march; blockade by the police of villages…march. Thats a visionless leader. My question is: Why does he not MARCH himself out of office? His brand of leadership depends on taking a basket to the well to fetch water. We (citixens of Guyana) need someone to lead us who has a bucket from which to fetch water from the well. We need someone who brings back from the well :hope, inspiration, tollerance, racial harmony, foresight, nation building, pride in being Guyanese. So, Tandica, ask yourself if Mr. Corbin has a basket or a bucket when he makes his trip to the well. ISNM

Comrade Corbin no longer fit the bill for being the next leader of Guyana….
The profile of the next leader of Guyana is as follows:-
-must be in mid forties
-have at least a first degree, second better
-could be from either party but must be of MIXED race (take the race card out of the playing field-dougla seems to fit the bill)
-must be from the working class and brought up by his/her Grandparents( to instill the best values of life)
-NOT a sweetman/sweetwoman
-have only one house or even renting
-can arouse a crowd

She is allowing herself to be manipulated by Robert Corbin and that is a great shame.

I wonder what he promised her for putting her signature to this letter to launch his 2009 bid for re-election to the leadership of the PNCR.

Terry you are in Guyana it seems. Your comments appears to be truthful . My question is how can the young people take back the almost defunct PNC party and the youth movement from the grips of the likes of Corbin, Green, and the few “diehards”? How can the intellectuals get back into the party that has had a history in Guyana?

I hope everyone learns from Barack Obama. One has to be a leader for all the people and not just its base.

There are many Afro Guyanese with Barack Obama potential in Guyana and can genuinely bring about great and needed change in our wonderful country. But with the PNC stranglehold on the nation with their proliferation of criminal endorsements, through various schemes such as freedom fighters, etc. the PPP is made to seem the best hope for Guyana.

Our country greatly needs leaders like Barack Obama who can promote goodwill to all Guyanese irregardless of race.

well ms.todd has a right to express her views of the leadership of the pnc, and i have a right to disagree with her, but i think that the pnc leadership need a change, i was disappointed when mr alexander lost in his bid for the leadership of the pnc who i i believe would have put some fresh ideas into the party, hence this attempt to change leadership i must take it that it’s members are not satisfied with the way in wich corbin is leading the flock. fresh ideas, progressive thinkings, and a firm, ccourageous attitude is what is need to take the party to the next level.

Oh Tandica. I do hope you have learnt a valuable listen and not allow anyone to manipulate ever again.
Do you wonder why you were chosen to pen this letter? I wish you would reassess your position and that of the Leader you seem to love so much. Corbin is a waste of time. And if you continue this crusade, I’m afraid you too will be seen as a waste of time. Hope it’s not too late.

Miss Tandica Todd,You have a right to express you views in your letter,but if you read these bloggs,you should get the message.You need to do some serious research before you write letters about Politicians.Those of us who know better by personal experience,cannot agree with those sentiments.It is also my view that Robert has outlived his usefulness.Did you get any assistance when you were drafting that letter?.I have a suspicion you were manipulated.
