Dear Editor,
Sister Carmeline of the Missionaries of Charity is soon to return to her homeland, India, and may never return to Guyana. This great soul along with the many Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity has moved around this country visiting impoverished communities searching for those in need and ensuring help is given. Despite the many days and nights myself and wife worked doing our leathercraft we were unable to meet the needs of our seven children, but then came this guardian angel who has been helping us through this dim period of our lives. Like Mother Theresa she is a person that does this work from her heart. My seven children will miss her dearly. On behalf of myself, wife and children and all the many poor families around this country whose lives have been touched by Sister Carmeline, we say, thank you and may Almighty God bless you always.
Yours faithfully,
Jimmy Ramnarayan and other family

I may not know Sister Carmeline of the Missionaries of Charity but from your eulogy Jimmy Ramnarayan, may I join you by expressing my most sincere condolences as well.

Jimmy, from your narration of Sister Carmeline selfless earthly deeds. To her compassion and devotion for our other less-then-fortunate mortal humanity, proves without a doubt her sainthood.

Sister Carmeline went far beyond her earthly duties and she will live in your families’ loving memories and that is my friend, immortality. Although this is a sad occasion it should be celebrated with you and yours cherished memories of her. She is not gone but will live in those she touched, still, being able to give of herself.
