Dawn, a lot of these pseudo intellectuals are only recently getting into the game on account of 1992 and they behave like nothing of substance happened before that date. Some of them even have the temerity to identify an ideologue like Dr Cheddi Jagan as being the father of Guyana. I guess they don’t understand that nation building is more of a legal phenomenon than an ideological rant.

I had made the point that our less lettered citizens would have questions of your pride in our independence and republican status given the quality of our leadership and accountability structures in Guyana.
