Winners: 38-year-old Jhury Udenhout of Suriname with one of his sculptures entitled ‘Human Anatomy’ on display at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue yesterday. The artist explained that the sculpture depicts someone who has just won. The artist said that he has been sculpting for the past 17 years and this was not the only medium that he has worked with though he has a passion for sculpting. The sculpture is made of solid mahogany. The Carifesta X visual arts exhibition runs until August 30.
