Replica Underground Mine

Pork-Knockers working in an underground cave? No, these are actually students of the University of Guyana, who attend the institution under Guyana Geology and Mines Scholarships. This enormous replica of an underground mine is one of the exhibits at the Mining Exhibition being held at the Girl Guides Association compound as part of Mining week activities. The exhibition ends today. (August 27, 2008)
