The Winfer Gardens Primary School was presented with a ‘Smoke Free Zone’ sign by Moneygram yesterday morning. In the photo above the school’s Head Teacher; Jennifer Cumberbatch and her students display their happiness at receiving the sign. Cumberbatch said they have been making every effort to protect their children’s health by guarding against the damaging effects of secondhand smoke. Chairman of the Neal and Massy Group of Companies, Deo Persaud, said this was Moneygram’s way of giving back to the community and making an effort to protect our children who are the foundation of tomorrow’s Guyana.
